September 6, 2024Military commissars commented on a woman’s claim that her father died after being beaten by representatives of the Zakarpattia Territorial Recruitment Center. The center claims that the man’s death was allegedly caused by a heart attack, not from being beaten.
The statement was published on the Facebook page of the Zakarpattia Regional Territorial Recruitment Center.
According to the post, the man had been drinking alcohol with his partner and began assaulting her, prompting her to call the police. Law enforcement took the man to the Mukachevo Territorial Recruitment Center, where it was determined that he was eligible for conscription.
The man passed the military medical examination successfully, but he fell ill on the way to the training center. The military called an ambulance, and the man died in the hospital.
“According to the forensic medical examination, it was established that death occurred as a result of a natural illness (ischemic infarction of the left hemisphere of the brain) and was not related to any traumatic events,” the recruitment center stated.
Earlier in the summer, a man in the Rivne region slit his wrists in a recruitment center after being subjected to violence by eight military officers.
