Orbán stated that the EU has run out of funds to help Ukraine
28.10.2025 - 08:31The Russians are on the verge of securing a foothold in a key area of Pokrovsk — the industrial zone.
This was reported on Telegram by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign Muchnoy.
According to him, “the areas we still control are getting smaller and smaller.”
“If the enemy consolidates in this sector, it will be a real disaster. And right now, we’re already on the brink of that scenario… Any setback there could turn into a catastrophe,” the soldier said.
He added that the central defensive hub of the city has not yet been completely lost, but entering it now is extremely dangerous:
“The area is under fire, and any movement could end in a barrage of gunfire.”
He also disagreed with those claiming that the situation in the city is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).
“As for the so-called stabilization in this direction, which some officers are loudly proclaiming — that’s nonsense meant to calm people down. On the ground, the fighters see a different picture: the enemy is pressing, shaking our positions, and the situation there is far from stable,” said Muchnoy.
Yesterday, it was reported that Russian forces managed to cut the road from Pokrovsk to Pavlohrad, creating a threat to the Ukrainian defense on the city’s western approaches.
Earlier, Russian authorities claimed that Ukrainian troops near Pokrovsk had been encircled. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed that Russian forces had entered Pokrovsk but denied claims of encirclement.
