“There are no bad brigades, only bad commanders”: a Ukrainian soldier stated that there have long been no volunteers left in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Almost all assaults are now carried out only by “bus-ified” troops, and volunteers have long since disappeared.

This was stated by Ukrainian serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov on his Telegram channel.

He criticized the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), accusing it of neglecting its personnel.

“There are no bad brigades, soldiers, or orders – only bad commanders who don’t know how to think, take care of their personnel, establish coordination, or ensure proper training of their subordinates. Currently, almost all assault operations are carried out exclusively by ‘bus-ified’ troops – volunteers have long since disappeared. At the same time, some show positive results, while others show negative ones,” Bunyatov wrote.

He also emphasized that officers themselves must work hard and show persistence and a genuine desire to make changes.

As a reminder, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty recently criticized the culture of mutual cover-ups in the army. According to him, commanders in the AFU are not held accountable for the deaths of their troops.
