For the first time, all major Ukrainian cities were left without power
11.11.2025 - 06:02The United States is no longer funding Ukraine but is getting paid for weapons supplies via NATO.
This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump at a briefing.
“We are no longer spending money (on Ukraine). Now we are being paid through NATO,” Trump told reporters, speaking about the war in Ukraine.
Also, according to the U.S. president, the situation around Ukraine no longer threatens a world war.
“If I had been president, this war would never have happened. And if I were not president, this war could have led to a third world war. That will not happen,” he said.
The U.S. president also touched on global tariffs. He said the U.S. is maintaining very high tariffs against India due to its continued purchases of Russian oil.
The Western press wrote the day before that deliveries of American weapons to NATO allies, with subsequent transfer to Ukraine, have been halted due to the U.S. government shutdown.
As a reminder, the other day Trump again said that Washington had put an end to eight wars and would do so with one more—in Ukraine.
