U.S. President Donald Trump said he does not believe Ukraine will win the war with Russia, although he does not rule out such a possibility.
The head of the White House made the remark while speaking to the press.
“They (the Ukrainians) can still win. I don’t think it’s going to happen, but the possibility remains. I never said they would definitely win — I said they have a chance. Anything can happen. You know, war is a very strange thing. A lot of bad things happen, but a lot of good things happen too,” he said.
Earlier, Trump denied reports claiming that he had demanded Zelensky cede the Donetsk region to end the war.
