Trump’s team is confident that everyone must agree to the cessation of the war in Ukraine

Everyone must agree to stop the war in Ukraine.

This statement was made by Mike Waltz, the future National Security Advisor to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, in an interview with CBS News.

According to him, even Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has agreed on the need to stop the war.

“President Trump is clear that this war must end. I think everyone should agree with that. In fact, even Zelensky walks into the room now and says: ‘We are ready to work with you, President Trump, to stop this war,'” Waltz said.

He also outlined three key questions for resolving the conflict:

“First, who do we invite to the negotiating table? Second, how do we bring them to the table? And third, what are the parameters of the deal?” said the advisor.

Waltz described the war in Ukraine as a “meat grinder” that could lead to a third world war.

“This is trench warfare reminiscent of World War I, a true meat grinder, with people crossing open fields in eastern Ukraine. But with the escalatory consequences of a third world war,” Waltz added.

It is worth noting that Western publications have reported that Ukrainian authorities are opposed to ending the war in the near future.
