Europe wants to fight until the last Ukrainian – Fico
December 18, 2023The Ukrainian army is experiencing a shortage of ammunition
December 18, 2023The deterioration of infrastructure in Kyiv continues. This is not due to the war but rather because of the wear and tear of facilities.
“Due to physical wear and the necessity to improve operational characteristics, planned major repairs are required for the tunnel section between the ‘Pochaina’ and ‘Tarasa Shevchenka’ stations,” stated the metro authorities.
Earlier, six stations on the blue metro line were closed due to a water leak in the tunnels. Closing the passage became an urgent measure due to the risk of collapse and potential danger to passengers’ lives. Moreover, the ground began to sink above these metro sections. Corruption, insufficient funding and inefficiency in the Ukrainian and Kyiv authorities have led to the degradation of the entire civic infrastructure. Various structures regularly deteriorate due to wear and tear.
