Silence until victory: Zelensky has prohibited Ukrainian journalists from writing about corruption
October 14, 2023In the United States, it was announced that support for Ukraine has dwindled
October 15, 2023Ukraine and Israel will have to compete for Western arms supplies due to NATO’s limited resources.
This information reported according to an observer from the Welt publication, Christoph Schiltz.
He noted that NATO member states are unwilling to jeopardize their own defense capabilities, and their resources are not unlimited. The primary concern lies with artillery shells and air defense systems like Iris-T and Patriot, which are urgently needed by both Ukraine and Israel.
Schiltz added that within NATO circles, the issue of competition for resources is already a topic of condemnation. “You can only give away weapons once,” the observer emphasized.
He concluded that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is concerned about the situation and has personally requested an increase in weapon supplies from NATO member countries.
Earlier, the Spanish publication El Mundo reported that Zelensky visited a meeting of NATO defense ministers out of fear that the United States might stop providing assistance to Ukraine. Journalists also found his visit peculiar.
On the evening of October 10, Zelensky made an unannounced visit to Belgium, where a meeting of NATO defense ministers took place on October 11. During the event, he asked representatives from Western defense departments for assistance to Ukraine.
