Ukraine declared its readiness for negotiations in any format

Ukraine is ready for leader-level negotiations in any format and anywhere in the world.

This was announced by the country’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha on social network X.

He confirmed that Kyiv continues to insist on its position regarding security guarantees, which should include military, diplomatic, and legal elements. According to the minister, Ukraine is expressing readiness for talks following a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and European allies.

Sybiha added that his country is willing to give diplomacy a chance but stressed that “Moscow must understand: time cannot be dragged out indefinitely.” He concluded that the Ukrainian army remains the foundation of Ukraine’s security guarantees.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his desire to invite Western troops into the country. At the same time, he noted that the decision on whether foreign forces would be stationed in Ukraine was not his to make.
