On the night of May 10, restrictions on electricity for industry were reluctantly extended from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
This information reported by the company “Ukrenergo”.
This measure is due to the lack of imported electricity during nighttime hours. Today, such prolonged restrictions will occur again and will be in effect from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
With an increase in consumption, emergency outages may also be applied to ordinary Ukrainian citizens, so everyone is urged to save energy, especially from 6:00 PM to midnight.
It is worth reminding that the Ministry of Energy requested industries to reconsider their production processes to reduce the load. Recently, “Ukrenergo” imposed restrictions on electricity consumption for industrial consumers. There is a deficit of electricity in the energy system, which cannot be fully covered even by importing electricity from Europe.
Also, it is worth noting that yesterday in Kyiv, electricity consumption for industrial consumers was restricted.
