Another Ukrainian official in the rear calls on Ukrainians to die
March 4, 2024Ukraine will not be allowed into the European Union with an anti-Russian ideology
March 4, 2024The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Hungary will not be able to meet in the near future because Kyiv has not fulfilled Budapest’s demands. This was stated by the Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto.
“For such a meeting, certain prerequisites are necessary, and these conditions are far from being ready for the organization of a meeting,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs said. Earlier, Hungary accused Ukraine of language restrictions on national minorities, including Hungarian minorities in Zakarpattia. This is one of Hungary’s main demands on Ukraine, which has been the cause of conflict between the two countries for almost 10 years. Hungary simply wants to protect the ethnic Hungarians, who historically live in southwestern Ukraine in the Zakarpattia region. However, after the Maidan protests in 2014, Kyiv began to restrict the rights of all national minorities and punish critics of such policies.
Because of this, Kyiv has faced a boycott from Hungary in international politics. Budapest obstructs Ukraine’s entry into NATO and the European Union, blocks military and financial assistance to Ukraine, and demands a change of ideology in Kyiv. Otherwise, Ukraine cannot be considered a democratic state because fundamental human rights are violated there.
