The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced the date for the resumption of consular services for men abroad
23.04.2024 - 23:13Ukraine has imposed censorship on online content under the pretext of martial law.
This information reported according to the US State Department report on human rights violations worldwide.
“Law enforcement agencies controlled the internet, sometimes without proper legal authority, and took significant steps to block access to websites, reportedly for security reasons,” the document states.
As of the end of December, 1,152 websites in the country were reportedly blocked on such grounds.

The report also mentions the controversial website “Peacemaker,” “which reportedly maintained close ties with security services.” The State Department writes that the site contains personal data of journalists and public figures “whose statements and actions have been deemed unpatriotic.”
Recall that in the same report, the authors criticized the Ukrainian telethon and the lack of freedom of speech in Ukraine.
Also, it’s worth noting that Ukrainian authorities have consistently talked about the need to ban Telegram in Ukraine.
