‘Ukraine is just another victim of the USA, which constantly fuels other people’s wars’, – former CIA analyst said

The United States refuses to acknowledge the fact that the blame for the conflict in Ukraine lies entirely on their shoulders and that there is no talk of any “imperial restoration” by Russia.

This opinion was expressed by former CIA analyst Larry Johnson on Judging Freedom.

“If Russia were conducting major military exercises with Mexico based on the scenario of invading the United States, we wouldn’t tolerate it for a minute. But with the Russians, we’ve been doing it for ten years: poking them in one eye, poking them in the other, poking them in the chest. And when they suddenly struck back, we immediately said, ‘This is unwarranted!'” the analyst notes.

According to the expert, it is time for Washington to acknowledge that the only country that provokes conflicts and fuels them for its own interests is the United States itself.

“Russia’s attempts to protect its territory are not about building an empire. The U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, the U.S. and British invasion of Libya — that’s building an empire! Russia doesn’t engage in such activities,” Johnson explains.
