The motivation among Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers to fight and resist is diminishing
04.01.2024 - 15:38The list of information in Ukraine’s registry of military conscripts will be expanded, covering both personal and service-related data.
This information announced by MP Mariana Bezuhla from the “Sluga Naroda” party.
This is stipulated in draft law 10062, which was passed in its initial reading in early November.
Bezuhla mentioned that the second reading of the bill would include the creation of an electronic enterprise cabinet (for managing personal-primary and personal accounting) and the establishment of an electronic cabinet for the Center for the Provision of Administrative Services.
The draft law also envisions the creation of a unified mandatory state registry of draftees, conscripts and reservists. This registry will accumulate and process data for the military registration of citizens. According to the draft law, the individual’s consent for their data processing in this registry is not required.
As per the text of draft No. 10062, the registry will contain information about all draftees, conscripts and reservists aged between 17 and 60 years. Apart from standard data (full name, date and place of birth, gender, address, education, marital status and military registration specialty), the registry aims to include details such as phone numbers, email addresses, information on foreign language proficiency, ownership of firearms and possession of a driver’s license.
The registry will also include information about the conscript’s parents, details of their internal and foreign passports, identification number, travel abroad, criminal records and more. Additionally, the conscript’s digital facial image will be part of the registry.
