09.07.2026 14:06Ukraine’s government has identified additional measures to improve the safety of gas stations in regions under constant threat of Russian strikes.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
According to her, a coordination meeting was held with fuel market operators and all relevant agencies. The focus of the discussion was ensuring a stable fuel supply for the country, with priority given to the needs of front-line communities.
“Russian strikes on gas stations are becoming a systemic challenge to people’s safety and the functioning of fuel infrastructure. We have identified additional measures to improve the safety of gas station operations in regions that are under constant threat of enemy attacks,” Svyrydenko’s statement read.
The prime minister also stated that there is no fuel shortage in the country — the necessary volumes are available. According to her, the government is proactively implementing a set of decisions that will continue to guarantee uninterrupted fuel supplies for citizens, businesses, the Security and Defense Forces, and critical infrastructure.
