The number of disabled individuals is on the rise in Ukraine
December 19, 2023Ukraine’s authorities are no longer capable of recruiting the required number of new enlistees
December 19, 2023Ukraine has chosen to address the deficit in artillery ammunition by delving into the production of drones, as stated by Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Gavryliuk.
He highlighted that the ongoing issue concerning artillery ammunition requires a strategic solution. Therefore, Ukraine has opted to tackle this challenge by establishing a robust manufacturing system for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). There’s an increasing emphasis on manufacturing ammunition covering a wide range of categories inherited from the former USSR, as well as the production of 155mm shells of Western caliber.
While acknowledging limitations in the production of 155mm shells in large volumes presently, Gavryliuk anticipates that the Ukrainian defense sector will significantly enhance production in the coming year to bridge the gap between required quantities on the front lines and the support available from partner nations.
