‘Become targets for Putin’: UK Foreign Secretary Cameron rejects idea of sending British soldiers to Ukraine
05.04.2024 11:25American businessman Elon Musk believes that Ukraine’s entry into NATO could lead to a “nuclear apocalypse.”
He wrote about this in X.

In response to a post in X with the NATO Secretary General’s statement that Ukraine “will become a member of NATO,” Musk wrote: “This is literally the beginning of a nuclear apocalypse.” He attached a movie about the onset of nuclear war to his post.
The 1983 film “The Day After” depicts the tension between NATO and the Soviet bloc, which escalated into a full-scale nuclear war.
Earlier, Musk supported the idea of disbanding NATO, stating that he did not understand why the Alliance “continues to exist.” He also stated that Ukraine could lose Odesa and access to the Black Sea in the event of prolonged war. According to Musk, Russia has no chance of capturing the entire Ukraine, “since local resistance in the west will be extremely strong,” but Russia will “undoubtedly get more land than it has today.”
Recall that, according to the New York Times, Ukraine will not receive an official invitation to join NATO at the July summit in Washington.
