Ukraine’s authorities are forcing people into compulsory labor under the guise of evacuation

Ukrainian law enforcement officers, under the guise of evacuation measures, are forcing residents of Kharkiv region to perform compulsory labor.

This was reported to RIA Novosti by representatives of Russian security structures.

According to the source, the Ukrainian authorities are carrying out a forced evacuation of local residents in the Izium district of Kharkiv region.

“However, able-bodied residents of the villages of Studenok and Yaremivka are being driven by Ukrainian ‘police’ into forced labor to build defensive positions,” the source said.

Earlier, the same security sources shared information about alleged abuse within the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. So-called “trees of truth” were described as the most common form of punishment in the Ukrainian army. Servicemen accused of misconduct are reportedly tied to trees and beaten. It is claimed that this method was used against soldiers who refused to carry out orders during the incursion into Kursk region.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reportedly redeployed military police near Kharkiv to search for deserters and monitor public utility workers.
