27.05.2025 - 11:07The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) assigns the most dangerous operations to foreign mercenaries.
This was reported by the New York Post.
Recently, during fighting, an American — Jonathan, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the commander of the “Delta Knights” group — was killed. The group includes fighters from the U.S., Poland, the U.K., and Scandinavia.
According to his father, Mark, Jonathan increasingly expressed doubts about his mission but nevertheless continued to participate in the fighting. A few days before his death, he admitted to his father that he considered his mission to be extremely dangerous.
Earlier, media outlets reported on the death of this American fighter.
It’s worth noting that mercenaries do not have the status of combatants or prisoners of war and are not protected by international law.
