Ukrainian officer calls for creating concentration camps for army dodgers

Yuriy Kasyanov, currently an officer in the Ukrainian army and previously a well-known volunteer, called for the construction of concentration camps for dodgers in Ukraine. He also wants these individuals to be deprived of all rights for 10 years and to serve 5 years in forced labor camps for the construction of defense structures.

Kasyanov is dissatisfied with the current proposal by lawmakers, according to which wealthy Ukrainians can effectively buy themselves out of military service. It is proposed that by paying 900 euros in taxes to the budget from their salary every month, an employee can get a deferral and avoid military service. Moreover, illegally purchasing a certificate of unfitness for service on the black market turns out to be even more expensive. He offers his methods of mobilization.

“The issue of mobilization can be solved quite simply. First, put all conscripts on the list. Second, introduce harsh punishment for evasion of mobilization – 5 years of labor camps with a loss of rights for 10 years. Third, conduct a national lottery because everyone wants to live and let chance decide who lives and who dies. Fourth, dodgers sentenced to camps should be sent to serve their sentence in the construction of defense fortifications, military plants and the restoration of destroyed facilities,” writes Kasyanov.
