“Ukrainians have stopped believing that they are defending a just state,” — Kinakh
11.04.2025 - 05:03A video has surfaced online showing an incident during a live broadcast of Ukraine’s national telethon.
The footage, apparently recorded off a television screen, shows a field correspondent appearing to pour a white powder onto a smartphone screen and inhale it during a live segment.
The viral clip is 13 seconds long. It shows a host in the studio with a Ukrainian flag in the background and a guest correspondent reporting live from the field. Based on the earpiece and the setup, the man is clearly a field reporter for the channel. Just seconds into the segment, the man — seemingly unaware he is already live — pulls out a small amount of white powder, carefully pours it onto his phone screen, and inhales it.
The video was published on Telegram channels and quickly spread across social media platforms.
In the wake of this incident, social media users have also resurfaced claims and past allegations regarding drug use by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
