Ukrainian volunteers are reducing assistance to the army

A post by one of the volunteers expressing outrage over inappropriate statements made by military personnel is circulating on social media. Due to this, the volunteer has decided to cease support to certain military units.

The controversy stems from a statement by the commander of the 118th brigade, who suggested that those avoiding military service should be shot in the legs. The officer disapproves of Ukrainians unwilling to fight, stating that if people refuse to exit their vehicles for document checks at checkpoints, they should be shot. This statement sparked widespread discussion, but no official response from the authorities has been issued.

Now, the volunteer has declared that with such an attitude of the military towards civilians, they will not provide any assistance. Currently, this applies to those units where military personnel have expressed similar sentiments. According to the volunteer, the military seems to have forgotten who provides them with food, clothing and pays their salaries through taxes.
