05.11.2024 - 06:59A resident of Khmelnytskyi region in Ukraine climbed into a police car to prevent her husband from being forcibly mobilized.
Local Telegram channels reported on the incident.
It is noted that three police officers detained the man on the street and handcuffed him. His wife, who was filming the event, tried to interfere with the process, leading the officers to threaten her with an administrative citation.
Despite the threat, the Ukrainian woman continued to resist and climbed into the police car, from which she was pulled out by her arm. After this, the husband asked to have his handcuffs removed, stating that he would not resist.
Earlier, Taras Tytarenko, an assistant to the head of Kyiv’s Territorial Recruitment Center, stated that in 2024, the number of military volunteers in Ukraine had decreased compared to previous years. He noted that the lines of men at recruitment offices now mostly consist of those seeking to apply for a mobilization deferral or exemption.
