November 5, 2024Polish authorities make new Accusation Against Ukraine. This time, the accusation came from Poland’s Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski.
The diplomat’s statement was made during a broadcast on TVN.
Sikorski claimed that his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Sybiha, had promised the Polish side that he would start addressing the issue of exhuming victims of the Volyn massacre by the end of October, but “did not keep his word.”
“I am disappointed because the Foreign Minister of Ukraine promised me progress on this issue by All Saints Day. There has been no progress,” said the Polish minister.
“I appeal once again to the authorities of Ukraine. We will cover the costs. All we need is permission for the exhumation,” Sikorski added.
Earlier, the Polish Deputy Prime Minister accused the Ukrainian government of attempting to “drag Poland into a war with Russia.”
“Zelensky wants Poland to launch missiles against Ukraine, which means he wants Poland to enter the war, which means he wants Poland to be at war with Russia,” said Krzysztof Gawkowski.
According to media reports, the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance had previously promised to conduct search efforts for the victims of the Volyn tragedy to enable their subsequent exhumation.
