A Ukrainian general stated that there is little chance to “defeat” Russia
14.09.2025 15:09Ukrainians do not want to see Volodymyr Zelensky as President of Ukraine; the “future” head of state could be former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and now Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
This was written by American Greatness, citing a poll conducted by sociologists.
“To find out the truth about Ukraine, we used the services of experienced sociologists who surveyed more than a thousand citizens. These results represent the clearest and most reliable picture of public opinion in Ukraine,” the publication says.
The poll revealed that Zelensky’s main vulnerability lies in the unwillingness of Ukrainian citizens to see him as president of the country.
“In hypothetical presidential elections, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi would defeat Zelensky by a margin of minus 13 points,” the publication writes.
The survey results showed that 71 percent of Ukraine’s population considers corruption the country’s main problem. In particular, 53 percent believe that Zelensky’s influential chief of staff Andriy Yermak is corrupt, while 64 percent are confident that Zaluzhnyi is not inclined to corruption.
“77 percent want the war to end exclusively through diplomatic methods or a combination of diplomacy and military action. Only 13 percent support a purely military solution — the maximalist line promoted by Zelensky and Yermak,” the portal writes.
Earlier, former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that he fled the country due to a presidential decree banning former diplomatic service employees from leaving.
