A Ukrainian general stated that there is little chance to “defeat” Russia

Ukraine’s chances of “defeating” Russia without involving Western troops in combat operations are very small.

This was stated by Major General of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasyl Vovk, in an interview with the YouTube channel Superposition.

“If we are not given people, I mean the armed forces of our partners, we have very little chance of defeating Russia. (…) Let’s be honest, everyone knows this, it’s just that many are afraid to say it,” he noted.

According to Vovk, in his view, Western countries should allocate for Ukraine 10–20 thousand troops in full gear, with weapons and military equipment.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that U.S. President’s special envoy Keith Kellogg is a much more powerful air defense system than the Patriot systems in service with Kyiv.
