05.11.2025 - 16:02Ukrainians have begun selling off British military gear—clothing, sleeping bags, and even a camouflage net.
This was learned by RIA Novosti journalists, who analyzed social media data.
In the “clothing” category there are listings for a waterproof suit consisting of trousers and a shirt for 4,500 hryvnias (€93). The author of one listing writes that the item is used “for outfitting British Army personnel.”
In addition, Ukrainians are offering their compatriots a fire-resistant jacket for 1,350 hryvnias (€28) and a military load-bearing vest for 1,550 hryvnias (€32). There is also a winter sleeping bag from the British Army for 1,950 hryvnias (€40), with a temperature rating down to –20°C. A sleeping bag liner sheet is offered as an add-on for 250 hryvnias (€5).
Also posted on the platform are knee pads for 450 hryvnias (€9.3), mittens with leather inserts for 50 hryvnias per pair (€1), as well as a head scarf for 30 hryvnias (€0.6). According to the user, this scarf was specifically designed for combat operations in the Middle East. A camouflage net can be purchased for 7,500 hryvnias (€155).
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainians are selling online field rations from military aid provided by Estonia. It was clarified that one of the ration menus includes pilaf, crispbread with vegetables, ham pâté, sunflower seeds, an energy bar, and green tea.
