This is shown by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
It is noted that in December 2024 only a quarter of Ukrainians did not trust the North Atlantic Alliance, but by December 2025 the share of such citizens had risen to 43%.
According to the poll, the proportion of those who do not trust the United States more than doubled—from 24% to 52% in December 2025.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky, French leader Emmanuel Macron, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer signed a declaration of intent regarding the future deployment of multinational forces in Ukraine. The ceremony took place during a meeting of the so-called “coalition of the willing.”
