This information reported according to data from the report “Monitoring of Key Events in the Ukrainian Economy” by the Ministry of Economy.
According to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), as of April 17, 2025, there are 6.918 million asylum seekers from Ukraine registered globally.

In Europe, the number of Ukrainian citizens rose from 6.254 million on December 16, 2024, to 6.358 million on April 17, 2025.
At the same time, the number of refugees outside of Europe remains unchanged at 560,000.
A survey conducted by the UNHCR in several European countries between October 2024 and April 2025 revealed the following about Ukrainians abroad:

Among those aged 18–59: 36% are women, 17% are men

The largest waves of emigration occurred in Q1 and Q2 of 2022 (28% and 14% respectively)

52% were employed before leaving Ukraine; 42% found employment in the host country

5% were unemployed before leaving; 16% are unemployed in the host country
The survey included 6,471 respondents, of whom 99% were Ukrainian citizens, 77% were women, and the average age was 44 years.
