On Wednesday, May 15, the company “Ukrenergo” announces new emergency power outages. They will be implemented today from 6:40 to 9:00.
This was stated in a message from the company’s press service in the Telegram channel.
The reason for this is the increase in consumption due to cooling weather and against the backdrop of disruptions in the energy sector after Russian shelling.
“From 6:40 to 09:00, the Dispatch Center of “Ukrenergo” implemented controlled emergency power outages for industrial and household consumers in all regions of Ukraine. Power supply to critical infrastructure facilities is not restricted,” the message said.
“Also today, from 00:00 to 24:00, power restriction schedules will be in effect for industrial consumers,” added “Ukrenergo.”
Recall that emergency power outages were introduced throughout Ukraine yesterday. Yesterday, “Ukrenergo” promised that on May 15, the schedules would only apply to industrial consumers.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine asked the industry to review production processes to reduce the load.
