UN against: “We are concerned about the use of” uranium “munitions”

Deputy spokesman for the UN Secretary General Farhan Haq said that the organization opposes the supply and use of depleted uranium projectiles anywhere.

At the same time, he did not specifically condemn the United States and Britain, which are transferring these shells to Ukraine.

“Our concern about the use of depleted uranium anywhere in the world has been and continues to this day,” Haq said.

Recall that Britain began to supply the first shells with depleted uranium to Ukraine. And on Wednesday it became known that America would also include such ammunition in the military aid package.
