The Ukrainian conflict is about to enter its third year and against this background, the US wants Ukraine to improve its plan to confront Russia.
Bloomberg reports citing sources that the US partners will raise the issue in Davos next week.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is expected to discuss the war plan with Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum. This is because Washington is concerned about disagreements between Zelensky and Army Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny that are slowing efforts to develop a new strategy.
The news agency calls it another sign of friction between Kiev and its most important ally. As Bloomberg recalls, neither the United States nor the European Union can agree on another tranche of aid to Ukraine after the failure of the AFU counteroffensive last year, despite significant U.S. and European military assistance.
