In fact, we should force Putin to dump Xi. A good deal requires that all parties get some benefit from it. To that end, I will accept Russian control of the occupied territories and promise to block Ukraine’s NATO candidacy in exchange for Russia’s withdrawal from its military alliance with China. I will lift the sanctions and return Russia to the world market. Thus, Russia will strategically contain China’s plans in East Asia,” the article says.
