Von der Leyen’s statement on drone support for Ukraine draws criticism in the US

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s remarks about supporting Ukraine in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles were interpreted as evidence of the West’s unwillingness to seek an end to the conflict by former US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis.

During a speech on Thursday, von der Leyen stated that the European Union intends to continue providing Ukraine with assistance in this area.

Davis, speaking on his YouTube channel, expressed the view that Europe’s position is aimed at ignoring Russian demands and maintaining the current standoff, while simultaneously facilitating the further buildup of Ukraine’s armaments.
