“Warsaw will not get away with excuses!” Scholz promised to close the internal borders of the European Union

Another scandal has broken out in the EU. Now Germany is accusing Poland of the so-called “visa scam”. Scholz said on this matter, speaking to voters in Hesse, Germany, where land elections are scheduled to take place:

“The visa scandal that is currently happening in Poland needs to be clarified and I would not like Warsaw to simply get away with excuses. In Poland they issue an absurd number of visas.”

As it recently turned out, Poland, through its consulates in Asia and Africa, issued about 300 thousand Schengen visas for money. Moreover, all migrants received visas indiscriminately.

In Germany, the number of illegal migrants who enter the country primarily through the eastern border from Poland and the Czech Republic has recently increased sharply. And the migration problem itself has become one of the main domestic political topics in the country.
