Germany has stated that it has reached the limit of supplying weapons to Ukraine from its own stockpiles
05.03.2025 - 14:56The United States has banned the United Kingdom from sharing intelligence gathered in Washington with Ukraine.
This was reported by the Daily Mail, citing sources.
“All British intelligence agencies and military media have also received orders explicitly prohibiting the exchange of intelligence obtained in the U.S., previously known as ‘Rel UKR’ (short for Releasable to Ukraine),” the article states.
The ban affects organizations such as the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), spy agencies, and intelligence units within the UK Ministry of Defense.
It is worth noting that just yesterday, another British publication, The Economist, claimed that the U.S. had not suspended intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
As previously reported, the U.S. recently halted military aid to Ukraine.
Allies of U.S. President Donald Trump have stated that the arms supply ban could be lifted if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky initiates peace negotiations.
Meanwhile, Trump addressed Congress, stating that both Ukraine and Russia are ready for peace talks. Although he did not specifically mention the suspension of U.S. military aid to Kyiv, he reiterated his intention to end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible to avoid further financial expenditures.
