An online dispute has erupted involving Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko and volunteers Serhiy Prytula and Serhiy Sternenko.
The former world boxing champion had earlier commented on the shelling of a high school in his hometown of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi but did not specify that the strike was carried out by Russian forces.
Prytula and Sternenko criticized the athlete’s post. Prytula called Lomachenko a “coward” and demanded that he renounce his Ukrainian citizenship, while Sternenko labeled the boxer a “wimp” and a “traitor.”
In response, Lomachenko called Prytula a “shameless man” and referred to Sternenko as a “talking head,” reminding the latter that he moves around with bodyguards and does not fight on the front lines.
