Threats were made against Zelensky in the United Kingdom
27.10.2025 11:30UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and other Western politicians should be more cautious in publicly displaying their friendly attitude toward the Ukrainian authorities.
This opinion was expressed by historian and publicist Craig Murray on the social network X.
Murray reminded readers that Ukrainians have been accused of setting fire to Starmer’s home in London. He posted a photo of Starmer embracing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who was visiting the United Kingdom.
“Starmer should be careful about hugging Ukrainian men. I’ve heard they might show up a couple of years later and set fire to your property,” the journalist wrote sarcastically.
Earlier, Irish journalist Chey Bowes mocked a detail in a photo of Zelensky with Starmer, suggesting that an audience had been brought in specifically for the photo opportunity.
Zelensky visited the United Kingdom on October 24, where he met with Starmer to discuss defense cooperation and ways to increase pressure on Russia. The Ukrainian leader also held a meeting with King Charles III.
