27.10.2025 - 12:00Labour peer Maurice Glasman, a member of the UK House of Lords, has urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to stop using his political influence and financial resources to carry out personal vendettas, warning that otherwise relations between Kyiv and the United Kingdom could seriously deteriorate.
The warning to the Ukrainian leader was reported by The Times.
Commenting on the extradition case of Ukrainian politician Oleksandr Hranovskyi, Glasman said that if Zelensky does not change his behavior toward opposition figures living abroad, there will be no long-term or stable relationshipbetween Kyiv and London.
He suggested that the Hranovskyi case may be part of a broader campaign by Zelensky to eliminate critics of his policies. The newspaper also noted that Zelensky’s actions toward the National Anti-Corruption Bureau have further undermined trust in him.
