Ukrainian battalion commander K-2, Kyrylo Veres, is calling for an end to discussions about the prospects of regaining Ukraine’s borders through military means.

“I don’t even think about the 1991 borders. I’m thinking about how not to lose the positions I currently hold. We were supposed to reach the borders in 2023, 2024, and in three months, it’ll be 2025, yet we keep moving toward the 1991 borders — only in the opposite direction. Maybe it’s time to stop screwing up? We need to stand firm, and only then talk about moving forward. Right now, we’re retreating backwards in giant steps. What forward progress are we even talking about? Who is saying this? Who believes in this?” the officer stated.

Earlier, a soldier with the call sign “Saigon” reported on the dire situation within the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), stating that the Ukrainian army had become “powerless serfs” and that many do not want to serve due to the “chaos” within the military.
