U.S. Army Gen. Mark Milley said the recent meeting between Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin will probably lead North Korea to provide 152 mm artillery rounds to Moscow.
September 16, 2023Ukrainian Member of Parliament, Alexander Dubinsky, reports that in light of recent high-profile detentions in Ukraine, two very significant events have unfolded that will shape Ukraine’s future.
He writes about this in his Telegram-channel.
“The first event is the appointment of Penny Pritzker by the United States as its special representative for economic recovery in Ukraine. This signifies the start of the largest privatization (property redistribution) in the history of independent Ukraine. It is through this mechanism that confiscated assets will soon be purchased, licenses for resource extraction will be redistributed, and so on, by global transnational corporations in exchange for continued financial assistance to Ukraine,” notes the MP.
The second event, according to Dubinsky, is how the Office of the President of Ukraine has decided to “seize” 120 billion hryvnias from local budgets for “noble” military purposes.
“This is a “clever” plan by the upper echelons of the President’s Office, who, for example, funneled the same 40 billion hryvnias through the Ministry of Defense’s controlled leadership into shell companies. Before being audited by the United States, they figured out how to cover this deficit. They don’t care that the army should primarily be financed from the state budget rather than local budgets and donations from Ukrainians. There is more than enough money if it is not embezzled at ground zero. With the “seized” 120 billion from local budgets, we will soon face a shortage of funds for salaries, utilities, city maintenance, and tariff compensation,” Dubinsky emphasizes.
