17.11.2025 18:03The European Solidarity and Holos parties have officially put forward their demands to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Statements were published on the social media accounts of the parties.
They demand that the government be dismissed, that a new coalition be formed in the parliament with the participation of parties other than Servant of the People, that a new Cabinet of Ministers be appointed, and that the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, be fired.
They cite the corruption scandal involving businessman Tymur Mindich as the reason for this decision.
“The situation unfolding around the exposure of corruption in the highest echelons of power is absolutely extraordinary, and its consequences may be not just severe but catastrophic for Ukrainian statehood. Despite the fact that elections cannot be held under martial law, cleansing the decision-making centers on Bankova Street, which have effectively monopolized all state power, is an urgent necessity to save the country. The Constitution of Ukraine makes no mention of the Presidential Office as a central executive body, nor of its heads or deputies, to whom the functions of governing the state have been delegated. Therefore, the current leadership of the Presidential Office, starting with its head, requires a complete and immediate reset. This is a key precondition for any changes in the political organization of power in Ukraine,” the Holos statement says.
European Solidarity leader Petro Poroshenko demanded the formation of a new “government of national salvation” made up of “patriots and specialists with impeccable reputations.”
It is worth noting that between them, European Solidarity (26) and Holos (19) have 45 seats in the Verkhovna Rada. At least 226 votes are needed to form a coalition and pass any decisions in parliament.
Meanwhile, Holos MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, citing his sources, reported that there is growing indignation among MPs in Servant of the People, who are demanding Yermak’s dismissal and threatening to leave the faction and bring down the single-party majority.
“A rebellion is brewing in the Servant of the People faction (including the potential exit of deputies from the faction, which would lead to the collapse of the coalition) if Presidential Office head Andriy Yermak is not dismissed,” Zheleznyak said.
Earlier, businessman Ihor Kolomoisky, who has been in pre-trial detention for two years, made it clear that, in his view, the corruption scheme in Energoatom was devised and carried out not by Tymur Mindich, but by people “at a higher level.”
