Ukrainians demand peace on social media: “It’s simply unbearable”
01.10.2026 08:00Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has stated that arms enterprises in European countries producing equipment for Ukraine are potential military targets for Russia.
This was reported by Reuters.
Zakharova made the statement in response to a question about Poland’s readiness to host a factory producing Patriot anti-missile systems for Ukraine on its territory.
“Arms factories in European countries producing equipment for Ukraine are potential military targets for Russia, and one should not assume that military factories outside Ukraine producing weapons for the Kyiv regime will be safe. Anyone who thinks so is mistaken,” Zakharova said.
In addition to the threat against defense enterprises, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman accused European countries of direct participation in the Ukrainian conflict.
“They are not simply providing assistance. By opening arms factories and joint ventures, they are participating in it to the fullest extent. And this only prolongs the resolution of the conflict rather than bringing it closer, as some forces in Europe believe or imagine,” Zakharova stressed.
Earlier, Russia sent NATO a letter threatening a nuclear strike in the event of an attempt to isolate Kaliningrad.
