Russia allowed for a response to Kyiv harsher than the “Oreshnik”
07.05.2025 09:42Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is threatening the leaders of 29 countries who plan to attend the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow on May 9.
This was stated by Rodion Miroshnik, special envoy of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Zelensky is threatening leaders of third countries. Essentially, he is threatening the leader of China, the leader of Brazil, and a number of other nations who intend to come to Moscow as a symbolic gesture,” the diplomat said.
The Victory Parade, marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory in the Great Patriotic War, will be attended by leaders from 29 countries, including 10 from former Soviet republics.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Kyiv could not guarantee the safety of foreign leaders who attend the parade in Moscow.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova characterized his remarks as “the threat of a global-scale terrorist.”
