Zelensky acknowledged Ukrainians’ fatigue from the conflict with Russia

Ukrainians are tired of the prolonged armed conflict with Russia.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with The Economist.

“People get tired. This sentiment comes in waves. It’s a long war, of course. Energy fades,” the politician admitted.

Zelensky pointed out the fatigue of Ukrainian citizens from the ongoing confrontation and emphasized that not all fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have high morale. He also complained about the pressure he has been under since 2022.

Earlier, Zelensky explained Ukraine’s refusal to hold elections. According to him, the decision on whether to hold a vote in the country is solely an internal matter.
