In it, he outlined what would constitute a victory for the republic in the conflict.
According to the Ukrainian leader, Russia allegedly intends to take control of the entire territory of Ukraine, and such an outcome would be considered a victory for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“For him [Putin], that would be a victory. And until he achieves this, the victory remains on our side,” Zelensky said.
Earlier, Zelensky had stated that he would not withdraw the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Donbas. He emphasized that under no circumstances could Kyiv surrender its territories. At the same time, he admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces “do not have enough strength” to change the situation at the front.
