Zelensky confirmed the readiness of Ukraine to sue the Europeans against the extension of the ban on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products to the EU countries.

“If we need to fight for Ukraine and the foundations of our common Europe in arbitrations, we will fight in arbitrations, although we don’t want it. If we need to fight on the platforms of international organizations, we will fight there too… But we hope for unity and we know that unity will win,” the president said at the summit of the Trimoria Initiative.

He says the restrictions against Ukrainian exports now are “a scaling up of the destruction caused by Russian terrorists.”

“Why, when our Ukrainian ports are on fire almost every night after Russian strikes, do we also have to worry that our land logistics will stop? When politics in Europe contradicts the essence and ignores common commitments and common values. Ukraine is categorically against any further restrictions on exports our grain!” the President said.

According to Politico, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia intend to extend the ban on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products after September 15, despite the position of the European Union, the rest of whose countries oppose it.

In response, the Ukrainian authorities have banned all travel for officials and deputies from traveling to Poland until the ban is lifted by Warsaw.
