‘Russia is advancing, while Ukraine has shifted to a stubborn defense’, – Austrian colonel says
20.01.2024 - 12:07Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has deemed as dangerous the statements made by U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump about his intentions to “end the war” in Ukraine within 24 hours, inviting him to visit Kyiv.
“Donald Trump, I invite you to Ukraine, to Kyiv. So, if you can stop the war within 24 hours, I think that would be enough reason for you to come,” said Zelensky in an interview with the British Channel 4 News.
Zelensky expressed concern about Trump’s idea of swiftly ending the war in Ukraine.
“So, he’s saying he will make decisions independently – I’m not even talking about Russia – without both sides, without us… This suggests that if his idea, which no one has heard, doesn’t work for us, our people, he will do everything to achieve his idea anyway. And that worries me a little bit,” he explained.
