‘Zelensky drummed his fingers on the table in anger during an interview’, – The Economist

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky displayed irritation and anger during his interview with The Economist.

This was noted by the British magazine itself.

‘Hunched over, Zelensky makes his point, drumming his fingers on the white plastic table in the situation room,’ the material states.

Journalists expressed the opinion that the President of Ukraine is ‘angry’ and ‘irritated by the hesitations’ of allies, as well as ‘estrangement’ from some of his compatriots.

In The Economist’s New Year interview, Zelensky lamented that Kyiv failed to achieve the goals set for 2023. According to him, now the Ukrainian Armed Forces will focus efforts on operations against Crimea and transition to defense in the east.
