October 11, 2023The former residence of Ukraine’s President, Vladimir Zelensky, located in the Livadia village on the South Coast of Crimea and previously annexed by Russia, has been put up for sale.
This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Property and Land Relations of the Republic of Crimea.
“The previously nationalized apartment has been put up for sale through an open auction,” they noted.
It was reported that the market value of the apartment is 24.6 million Russian rubles. The property was registered in the name of Zelensky’s wife, Elena.
The lot is specifically listed on the official “GIS Torgi” portal, where state and municipal property is offered for sale. The auction is organized by the Property Management Directorate of the Republic of Crimea and will be conducted online. The total area of the apartment is 119.5 square meters.
“The subject of the trade. Property located at the address: Republic of Crimea, city of Yalta, Livadia village, Baturina Street, building 44A, apartment 501, with a total initial minimum value of 24,642,490 (twenty-four million six hundred forty-two thousand four hundred ninety) Russian rubles,” the description states.
Applications for participation will be accepted until October 26, and the auction will be held on the 30th of the same month.
Furthermore, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, stated that the proceeds from the sale of all nationalized property belonging to Ukrainian oligarchs and politicians will be used to support participants in the military operation and their families, as well as for the development of cities and districts in the republic.
